Strategy: 

PSL have an opportunity for a QA Lead to join our successful team in shaping
and developing our Quality Assurance function. The QA Lead will report into
and work with Professional Services supporting our transition to a client
centric, product based organisation. This is a new key role which will include multiple responsibilities.
 
Mission: 
 
The Quality Assurance Lead contributes to the overall success of the
organisation by establishing & effectively managing all Quality aspects for
the organisation.
 
Responsibilities:
 
To lead the recommendation, design & implementation of QA standards,
tools, processes & methodologies
• To set customer service standards and assess customer requirements,
ensuring that these are met.
• To lead, manage and mentor QA team members and manage third party
contract testers.
• To set clear objectives and manage the performance & development of
the QA team as appropriate, to ensure they are adequately equipped to
undertake their roles
• To lead all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics,
applying industry best practices, and the development of new tools and
processes to ensure quality goals are met.
• To lead the recording, analysis and communication of statistical QA
management information for internal and Client use.
• To lead the development and execution of test cases, scripts, plans and
procedures, both manual and automated.
• To act as key point of contact for all QA aspects of releases, providing
QA services and coordinating QA resources internally and externally.
 
Qualifications 
• Bachelor's degree, IT or business related (or equivalent experience)
• At least 7 years of experience with IT and/or Quality Assurance
 
Knowledge, skills and abilities
• Strong QA experience
• Experience of leading, mentoring & managing a QA team
• Experience/knowledge of Financial services environment
• Working within a software/technology business
