Further to winning the CapQuest IT contract earlier this year, lender IT provider
Phoebus Software is delighted to announce that Mick Woodall has joined the company
as a Director.
Woodall joins Phoebus from motor finance lender British Credit Trust, where he was
Chairman. Before that, he was general manager at Woolwich Plc where he was responsible
for all non-branch lending. He has also served as Chairman of the FLA, the trade
association for the UK asset, consumer, and motor finance sectors.
“Mick brings a valuable ‘industry’ eye view of what Phoebus tries to achieve for
its lender clients,” said Paul Hunt, managing director of Phoebus Software, “His
previous roles at the most senior levels of mainstream lenders, means he knows what
software really means at the sharp end. 90% of our employees are experts in mortgage
lending as well as IT so Mick should fit right in.”
Woodall said, “I am really pleased to be joining the full time team of a forward
thinking and progressive IT specialist. Phoebus Software has a very clear strategy
together with the vision and the people to implement it. Their commitment to the
development of lender software, a portable product, expert staff, and their flexible
fees structure demonstrate the Phoebus model is a significant step forward for firms
who choose to outsource their IT software. I look forward working with them by using
my industry knowledge and network of contacts to further develop the business going
forward.”
Woodall has previously worked with Phoebus Software's parent company in a non-executive
capacity. |
